Shoaib Ahmed
Research
I am currently engaged in research that aims to explore and develop a novel approach to soil conservation by investigating the relocation and reconstruction of arable soils impacted by civil construction works. Leveraging my background in civil engineering, specializing in soil mechanics and geotechnical works, I am developing comprehensive solutions that ensure the preservation of soil integrity and facilitate civil construction processes. This research integrates engineering expertise with agriculture and policy considerations to achieve sustainable outcomes in soil management.

Teaching
Assisting Lab Classes for the course BYGT2204 during Autumn 2023 and Spring 2024:
In my role, I assist undergraduate and master's students in conducting flakiness index (Flisighet) tests on aggregates and penetration (Penetasjon) tests on bitumen, ensuring proper equipment use and data collection.
