CV

I am a PhD student at Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering who work on Sustainable maintenance of paved areas for year-round accessibility for all users project. This project is a part of GreeNexUS project to develop sustainable maintenance methods and strategies for urban paved areas to ensure year-round accessibility for all users and economic sustainability, while reducing CO2 emissions. This takes into account that today, municipalities in cold climates struggle to reach their CO2 emissions targets, within their economic constraints without sacrificing accessibility and safety for all users.

Research

Sustainable maintenance of paved areas for year-round accessibility for all users. 

To develop sustainable maintenance methods and strategies for urban paved areas to ensure year-round accessibility for all users and economic sustainability, while reducing CO2 emissions. An individual research projects focus on the synergy between health- and safety-driven green urban design, for an innovative perspective of the urban realms of the future.
