PhD Candidate at IØT. Main focus on quantum computing with applications in optimization. Research topics include enhancing QAOA with machine learning tools and creating better quantum representations of optimization problems.
Quantum computers admit provable speedups for a certain class of problems, but these seldom ( with the exception of prime factorization) have practical applications. Therefore, I research using existing and inventing new algorithms for optimisation use cases.
