Trine Margrethe Seeberg
Background and activities
I have a master's degree in physics from NTNU and I am employed as a senior researcher at SINTEF DIGITAL department for Smart Sensor Systems in Oslo. Currently In the period 2019-2022 I am freed in 75% position to complete a PhD. at NTNU Center for Senior Sports Research (SenTIF), with Professor Øyvind Sandbakk as principal supervisor, and Jan Kocbach and Johannes Tjønnås (SINTEF) as co-supervisors. The thesis involves use of wearable sensors for an integrative understanding of performance, physiological response and motion technique in outdoor cross-country skiing.
The scholarship position is connected to the AutoActive project, which I also lead, this project deals with the use of portable sensors within both sports and multiple sclerosis. The project is funded by the Research Council of Norway in the IKT Plus program and the consortium consists of researchers from NTNU, SINTEF, UIO, OUS, Olympiatoppen and MS Center in Hakadal.
More information about the project can be found here:
