About

Studies in Conservation of Cultural Heritage at the University of Applied Sciences Cologne, Germany, focussing on the conservation of musical instruments and wooden objects. Since 2005 employed at Ringve Music Museum / Rockheim – Norway’s National Museum for Popular Music (Museums in South Trøndelag) in Trondheim, Norway.
The daily work is research, documentation and conservation of historical musical instruments of the museum collection. Planning the best possible environmental conditions for preserving historical material long-term is crucial in exhibition and storage.

Since 2022, PhD candidate at the NTNU, Department of Materials Science and Engineering, joining the corrosion group.

The title of the research project is “Material combinations and degradation – a challenge in the conservation of musical instruments”. The Research Council of Norway founded the project as a Public Sector PhD (OFFPHD).
