Vijeta Sharma is an Artificial Intelligence scientist with a strong background of 14+ years of R&D experience in the industry. She completed her master's degree from Birla Institute of Science and Technology, India in Data science and PhD in Artificial Intelligence in 2021 from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. Her research area includes Artificial Intelligence, Deep learning image & video processing, Human Action Recognition, Robotics, Convergence of High-Performance Computing(HPC) and AI, Software Engineering, and Data Science. She has worked closely with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of India for India's PARAM series of supercomputers, Ministry of AYUSH for health domain projects, and Ministry of Defense for Indian Army project. She is actively involved in the supervision of master students' dissertations. She has received India's prestigious ASWAR-2022 award for her novel contribution to Ph.D. work. She has a keen interest in "AI in Education", where her Ph.D. work belongs. She is associated with the Educational Technology laboratory to lead the research activities and collaborative projects.
