Structure and mechanical properties of nanostructured Rhombohedral Cr5Al8
Rhombohedral Cr5Al8 nanoparticles were synthesized using high energy ball milling and annealing at a temperature of 600 °C. Subsequently, spark plasma sintering technique was employed to fabricate the bulk and dense Cr5Al8 material.

We report a facile atmospheric process to fabricate ultralow refractive index porous coatings. The coatings were prepared via a one-step base-catalyzed sol-gel process without any pre-treatment or post-treatment.
