I am working as a PhD candidate under the supervision of Prof. Svein Sunde and Prof. Frode Seland in the Electrochemistry group at NTNU. My current focus is to optimize the usage of nickel for alkaline water electrolysis (AWE) cells. The biggest aim is to reduce the amount of nickel through better control of the electrodeposition process at the surface.
Background:
- BSc from Tokyo University of Science (Japan)
- MSc from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (Norway)
I was working on a project regarding CO2 electrolysis in chloride molten salts for my master thesis under the supervision of Prof. Geir Martin Haarberg and Asoc. Prof. Espen Sandnes.
Title of thesis: Carbon Capture and Recovery by Molten Salts Electrochemistry
