About

Zhuoran Sun is a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). His research interests include the Internet of Things (IoT), ingestible electronics, wireless communications, and embedded systems, with a particular interest in physiological and biomarker sensing.

His research explores how IoT can extend beyond conventional environments into the human body, where sensing and embedded systems can provide access to physiological and biological information that is otherwise difficult to observe. He is particularly interested in ingestible electronic systems as a platform for sensing within highly constrained and challenging environments.
