Zoe Lulu Forgereau
About
I am a PhD candidate in the research division Analysis and Control of Microbial Systems (ACMS), at the Department of Biotechnology and Food Science, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). I am specifically interested in characterising the growth of phototrophic mixed communities (e.g., microalgae, bacteria) under different growth conditions.
Previously, I graduated from UiT The Arctic University of Norway, in Tromsø with a Master´s of Science in Marine Ecology and Resource Biology in 2022, and from Nantes Université, in France with a Bachelor´s in Biology and Ecology in 2020. Throughout my studies, I had lab and field experiences in Microbiology, specifically investigating the photophysiology, primary productivity, biomass, cell abundance and relative community composition of mixed microalgal communities (i.e., diatoms and flagellates).
