Green Office: Call
Are you a student interested in sustainability? Join the team
NTNU aims to strengthen its role as a driving force and cooperation partner for sustainable societal development. This also includes being a role model for sustainability in its own operations.
In Atumn 2025, NTNU launched a pilot project in Trondheim called Green Office, which is run by students. The goal is to support NTNU in its efforts to achieve its sustainability goals within education, research, operations, and priority areas in NTNU’s Environmental Action Plan (in Norwegian). From 2026, the project is planned to expand to Gjøvik and Ålesund.
Green Office is part of The Green Office Movement and collaborates with similar initiatives both in Norway and internationally. Green Office at the University of Oslo is an important actor in this work in Norway.
Green Office at NTNU is a meeting point for students and staff who have ideas and suggestions on how NTNU can become more sustainable as a place to study and work.
Staff at the office will initiate activities and projects that promote climate and environmental efforts at NTNU. In everyday work, the office will act as a link between student organizations, elected representatives, and other interested parties. It will contribute to better collaboration between students and staff on sustainability.
Green Office is a place where everyone can stop by for a cup of coffee and discuss sustainability at NTNU.
