WPs
Organization
The project is divided into seven main Work Packages (WPs), where each focuses on different tasks but they work closely together to achieve the project's deliverables, milestones and overall goals.

Brief Descriptions of the Work Packages
An detailed and updated description about each partner and WP tasks and deliveries information is found in the SEUS Annual reports.
WP1 Best Practices in Shipbuilding
focuses on researching and gathering data about the best practices in shipbuilding. This information is then used to build a framework, which acts as the foundation for the rest of the project.
WP2: CAD + PLM Platform Development and WP3 Open Platform Development
are responsible for developing the solution: an innovative digital platform that helps manage the entire shipbuilding process, combining design and product lifecycle management. This platform will be vital to improving efficiency and reducing costs in shipbuilding. WP2 focuses mostly on the core development of the tool, while WP3 tackles the data that will be handled by the tool, including open and proprietary data formats.
WP4 Implementation at Shipyards
will test this technology in shipyards to see how well it works in practice. This is a critical phase to ensure that the tools developed are effective in real-world settings.
WP5 Knowledge Management & Skills Development
focuses on managing knowledge and improving skills. It will look at how the project can help shipbuilders learn new skills and adopt modern digital tools, making the workforce more efficient and ready for the future.
WP6 Communication & Dissemination
is all about sharing the results of the project with the broader industry and the public. It focuses on communication, making sure that the findings and innovations are widely understood and used.
WP7 Project Management
oversees the overall management of the project. This includes keeping everything on track, coordinating between different teams, and ensuring that risks are properly managed.
Main objective
Create a Smart Shipbuilding Framework, achieving considerably time saving in engineering, assembly and construction at European shipyards via efficient integration and use of the computational tools included in the framework.
