To Hanako Yoshidas profileHanako Yoshida specializes in cognitive development, focusing on the interplay between early visual attention and language development. As the director of the Cognitive Development Lab at the University of Houston, she investigates the mechanisms of language learning, exploring how features of the learning environment shape early cognitive processes and facilitate learning through a variety of research approaches.

Hiroki Yamamoto

To Hiroki Yamamotos profileHiroki Yamamoto is a postdoctoral research fellow in Cognitive Developmental Laboratory at the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Indiana University [and a visiting researcher in the Graduate School of Human Sciences at Osaka University. He has expertise in developmental psychology and is especially interested in developmental and cultural differences in infants' visual experiences in the context of multi-modal language learning.
