- Management of innovation processes
- Models for innovation
- Product cycle models
- Creative problem solving techniques
- Business idea (need, customer, market and profit)
- Presentation techniques
- Pitch

Learning outcome

- Know the different steps in the Innovation Process.
- Know and be able to practise different creativity methods and tools.
- Know and understand the roles that Needs, Customers, Market and Profitability play in the Innovation Process

- Be able to participate in and manage an innovationprocess
- Be able to present a business idea in both a written and oral form.

- Be able to exchange views and experiences in community related discussions relating to the Management of Innovation and Creative Processes

Learning methods and activities

Pedagogiske metoder:

Lectures, group and individual exercises and presentations. Groups of up to 4 student work together on a business idea. 

Obligatoriske arbeidskrav:

One compulsory paper to be passed before sitting for the final exam. Participation in the presentation of a business idea. Passed mandatory exercise is valid for later continuation exams.

Further on evaluation

4 hour written individual exam. Parts of this exam can be related to a business idea.Resit exam:The business idea from the previous semester can be used.

Specific conditions

Exam registration requires that class registration is approved in the same semester. Compulsory activities from previous semester may be approved by the department.
