- The theoretical basis for the development of strategy in technology companies.

Learning outcome
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of the purpose and content of strategy and strategy processes
- Knowledge of basic theories of strategy, and knowledge of typical strategic challenges in practice
- Knowledge of strategic processes as a basis for desired change in an organization
Skills:
- Be able to explain connections between different parts of the strategy process
- Be able to identify strategic challenges in practice with particular emphasis on technology companies
- Be able to develop, implement and lead a strategic change process

- Basic insight into strategy and strategic change processes

Work requirements:
At the beginning of the semester, a coursework requirement must be granted that must be approved in order to take the exam. Assessment criteria: Approved/ Not approved. The coursework requirement is based on a technology case, and consists of questions related to the reviewed syllabus. The coursework requirement can be submitted individually or in groups of up to three persons. To be delivered via Blackboard by a given deadline. Non-delivery, or delivery after the specified deadline, gives the assessment "Not approved".
New assessment if not passed, see supplementary rules at the Faculty of Economics.
In the case of a re-sit exam and the last exam after the course has been discontinued, the form of assessment may be changed to an oral exam
The course is only available to students admitted to a study programme under "special conditions".
