Learning methods and activities

A combination of lectures, seminars, group activity and/or supervision. Students are required to use the digital course learning platform regularly and to make an active contribution in class.

The course is taught in English, and work that is part of the portfolio assessment must be submitted in English.

Students should expect that this 7.5 credit course equates with approximately 10 hours of work per week, including teaching time.

Compulsory assignment(s)

1-3 written and/or oral assignments, equivalent to 3000-3500 words in total and which will then comprise a primary portion of the final portfolio. Specific tasks will be defined at the start of the semester.

Approved obligatory assignment is valid for 2 semesters (the semester in which the approval is given, plus the following semester).

Compulsory assignments

  • 1-3 written and/or oral assignments at approx. 3000-3500 words in total

About the assessment

The course is assessed by a portfolio examination. The portfolio consists of several smaller obligatory assignments given over the course of the semester and be compiled into one coherent assignment at the time of the examination. The portfolio must be submitted in English and will be approximately 3500-4000 words in total.
