Course content

Frame for the technical content:
- Thermodynamics for heat pumping processes
- Heat pumping systems
- Design and dimensioning of equipment for cooling, freezing and storage of nutrients
- Transport of nutrients
- Commercial refrigeration, retail food store refrigeration and equipment
- Drying systems – use of heat pumping technology
The course can be individually adjusted.

Learning outcome

The course will give basic knowledge in heat pumping systems for handling of different foods.
