About the course

Learning methods and activities

The subject has longitudinal teaching. The subject uses a large degree of student-active forms of learning that require attendance and active participation. This can take place through the use of groups, team-based learning, self-study, task solving and task writing, seminars, skills training and dialogue-based lectures. Digital forms of learning are used when it is professionally appropriate.

Mandatory attendance: an attendance of minimum 80% (of scheduled activities) is required in order to qualify for taking the final exam.

The exam:

Written individual school exam (6 hours). Postponed exams take place according to the exam plan for students with a valid absence or with a grade F. Improvement of grade can only take place in the ordinary exam.

Admission to a programme of study is required:
Occupational Therapy (BERGO)

Required previous knowledge

The course has study rights requirements and is reserved for students who have been admitted to the bachelor's study in occupational therapy at NTNU in Gjøvik/Trondheim. The course is completed at the place of study at which you have admission. The student can start the course, but cannot sit the exam until all the prerequisites have been passed.

Syllabus and recommended literature are published in the course room in the digital learning platform at the start of the course. Students must have their own PC.
