About the course
Course content
A scientific investigation of a theme related to European Studies. The thesis must be written in English, German or French. We advise students to write the thesis in the foreign language they have been admitted to the study programme with. The thesis should be approx. 40-60 pages (12 pt, 1,5 spacing).
Learning outcome
Learning outcome: Skills in academic research, methodology, theory and communication of results.
Learning methods and activities
Written thesis. The grade given on the thesis may be adjusted after the oral examination.
The thesis can be written in a foreign language. The thesis should be approx. 60 pages (A4-format, 12 pt Times New Roman, 1,5 spacing).
Introduction course in the 1st semester (autumn). Individual supervision. Synopsis should be submitted before the 15th of December.

Bachelors degree in European Studies and foreign languages or equivalent.
