Knowledge The candidate has knowledge of -Nordic building traditions, with emphasis on sanitary systems and building technology -Regulations for water and wastewater -Wastewater and drainage handling -Water, wastewater and drainage piping -Hot water heating -Sanitary equipment placement and use -Hygiene and spread of infection in sanitary systems -Basic building physics, construction materials and components -Construction and documentation of trenches, manholes and drainage Skills The candidate can -Size water and wastewater pipes in accordance with regulations -Size and construct sanitary systems in buildings -Size hot water systems General competence The candidate can -Communicate with architects, building consultants and other stakeholders in the building industry regarding building physics, building parts and construction processes -Communicate with architects, building consultants and other stakeholders in the building industry regarding sanitary systems integration in buildings -Assess the influence of sanitary systems on health and environment -Communicate insight in opportunities and limitations regarding sanitary system alternatives to different stakeholders sanitary systems for buildings
