Course content
Formulation of maritime transportation systems at different planning levels. Advanced solution methods for different types of maritime planning problems. Practical implementation of such solution methods.
The course will be run every second year, next time Fall 2012.
Learning outcome
The course covers the methodological foundation for the use of models and advanced solution methods within optimization in maritim transportation. The goal of the course is to make the students able to model and solve real planning problems in maritime transportation professionally.
