On completion of this course the students will be able to:Knowledge:
Discuss why human centered software development is important
Define a user-centered / game design process, for users who are not like the developer or their acquaintances.
Understand game and or user interaction mechanics
Understand the process of designing an experience or game.
User interface standards.
Skills:
Discuss the design process using correct terminology
Low-fidelity (paper) prototyping
Quantitative evaluation techniques,
Work through the development of an idea from game concept to rules and implementation
General competence
Work more effectively in groups
Understand the basic methods related to innovation and entrepreneurship

Utfyllende informasjon:
This course will draw on the students experience with games and develop an appreciation for the design process by requiring the students to design innovative games within constraints.
Obligatoriske arbeidskrav:
The students will cover the content of the 3IKK course during tutorials.

Utfyllende om kontinuasjon:
Re-sit exam for the written exam in August.
Vurderingsformer:
Written exam, 4 hours (counts 40%)
Four assignments (counts 60%)
Both parts must be passed in order to pass the course.
