Knowledge

The candidate has

Skills

The candidate can

  • perform investment calculations, and assess profitability and economic risk
  • prepare simple budgets
  • analyse economic and environmental characteristics of products, processes or services
  • practice good interdisciplinary teamwork
  • apply methods for creative thinking on technology processes
  • define systems and analyse value chains with footprint analysis, life cycle assessment and energy analysis, as well as define and calculate energy and material efficiency indicators on systems level

The candidate can

  • assess the need for entrepreneurship in labour marked and society
  • assess ethical dilemmas that may arise in an entrepreneurship process
  • account for ethical, environmental, technological, individual and societal perspectives

Further on evaluation

Compulsory assignments given at the beginning of the semseter, consisting of

  • Individual assigments (exercises and possibly other individual tasks)
  • Group-based assignments and presentation (possibly project subtasks, peer-to-peer evalution and presentation)

Off campus exam: Individual digital exam in March constitutes 60 % of the final grade.

Group work: Group report constitutes 40 % of the final grade.

The re-sit examination may be conducted as an oral examination.

The re-sit exam is conduced in May/June.

Continuation and voluntary repetition / improvement can be carried out for some sub-evaluations without having to reassess both sub-evaluations in a topic. There is an opportunity to complain about partial assessments in this topic before all sub-evaluations have been completed.
