About the course
Course content
Mechanisms of concrete deterioration. Inspection of concrete structures - both field and laboratory methods. Maintenance and repair of concrete structures
Learning outcome
The course should provide the students with an understanding of the typical mechanisms of deterioration of reinforced concrete structures and ability to predict the service life and suggest mitigating measures and repair strategies.
Learning methods and activities
Lectures and group work. One literature survey with a written report. The lectures and exercises are in English when students who do not speak Norwegian take the course.

Corresponding to TKT4235 Concrete Technology 2, Advanced Course and TKT4215 Concrete Technology 1.
