Course content
Course curriculum is based on general introduction to mechanical engineering in particular. The subjects of interests are:
- Systematic techniques
- Methods of product development
- Introduction to 3D modelling and simple simulations
- Building of models and prototypes with the digital and manual tools
- Introduction to sustainability.
Learning outcome
The candidate has
- the basic understanding of the engineer role in the domain of mechanical engineering
- product design and product development including basic elements of constructions, mechanics, calculations and machine programming
- visualisation and modelling using manual and digital tools
- communication of the obtained knowledge to people with different backgrounds and experties.

- Lectures on chosen topics

- Mandatory assignments
Further on evaluation
Mandatory individual and group assignments must be approved during the semester. The project work is conducted in groups.
