Course content
Topics will vary by area of ??study and practice location. Topics that should be included is the manufacture and production planning, production, quality assurance procedures and systems, cleaning procedures, raw material processing and finished product inspection. Health, safety and security procedures should also be included.

Learning methods and activities
Pedagogiske metoder:
Four weeks of practice in business with guidance and input of a practice report. Practice report should contain answers to exercises that are specific to each institution. The tasks are set up in consultation between student, supervisor and the company. Students will keep a log for each working day.
Obligatoriske arbeidskrav:
90% attendance is required. Submitted and approved practice report. Oral presentation of the practice report to fellow students in the subject and sensors.

Approved practices and practice report. The report will comprise of approximately 10 pages (approx. 3500 words) and will be presented orally. The company approves the practice by filling out standardized evaluation form, where it should go forward if the student in a satisfactory way participated in the various tasks described in practice agreement. Practice report with answers to the exercises approved by the teacher and examiner Re-sit examination:Students who failed the exam or have a legitimate leave of absence from the exam, will be allowed to re-sit the exam during the next re-sit opportunity.
Specific conditions
Exam registration requires that class registration is approved in the same semester. Compulsory activities from previous semester may be approved by the department.
