Course content
The tuition aims at helping the students attain an integrated way of thinking and a multidisciplinary approach to complex patient problems. This includes not only clinical aspects, but also lab and basic medical aspects, behavioural subjects and environmental medicine. Ethical considerations are discussed, and the students are challenged to think through their own attitudes towards medical and para-medical questions.
For compulsory activity, a maximum of 15% unauthorized absence from this course are allowed.

If one of the three final exams (SM1 oral, SM2 oral, or SM3 written) are not approved, the same exams have to be taken again, not all three.
Specific conditions
Admission to a programme of study is required:
Medical studies (CMED)
Required previous knowledge
Admission to CMED. Passed the exam in year 1-5 of the medical progam and the subject MD4061. Totaly 330 ECTS of the medical program.
