Course - Chamber Music A - MUSP4135
Chamber Music A
About
About the course
Course content
The course includes the study of chamber music or ensemble repertoire that covers epochs essential to the student's primary instrument. Chamber groups will be constructed in the most practical way each year. The course is normally not offered for single students with no ensemble, but to established relevant ensembles. For some instrumental constellations duos can be possible.
The course requires considerable independent rehearsing in the ensemble throughout the academic year.
The course can be included as an elective in the bachelor's degree in performance music - classical or Masters in Music Performance. The department assigns elective courses to students based on their prioritized preferences, as well as academic and resource considerations.
