Course content
The target group is beginners or students without previous knowledge of Norwegian. The course focuses on basic Norwegian grammar and practical use of the language, in oral and written production.
Learning outcome
The course is an intensive version of level 1. The course level is indicated with the help of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and is equivalent to level A2/B1.
Learning methods and activities
The course consists of approximately 70 hours of teaching distributed evenly during a few weeks during the end of July-the beginning of August.
Compulsory assignments
- 80% attendance
- At least 4 approved written assignments

Norwegian for Foreigners (NFUT)
Required previous knowledge
No previous knowledge of the Norwegian language required.
