Course content

The short course is a language course for beginners. The course focuses on basic grammar and use of everyday language in both oral and written production.

Learning outcome

KNOWLEDGE:
The candidate’s level of knowledge is equivalent to at least Level A1 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

SKILLS:
The candidate
-is able to understand and use everyday expressions in order to carry out day-to-day tasks
- is able to introduce him- or herself and others
- is able to ask questions and answer questions about his or her whereabouts, acquaintances and possessions
- is able to interact with another person in an understandable way provided the other person speaks slowly and clearly, and is willing to clear up any communicative issues

Learning methods and activities

Compulsory attendance at the first lecture.

Approved examination's requirements are valid for 4 semesters after approval date.

Compulsory assignments

  • •1 obligatory oral exercise/test
  • 3 assignment
  • 80% attendance (obligatory attendance the first lecture)

Further on evaluation

In order to sit for the exam students need to hand in 3 assignments which must be approved by the end of the course. In addition the have to pass an oral exercise/test.
