About the course
Course content
Level 1 is a language course for beginners or students with very little previous knowledge of Norwegian.
The course focuses on basic grammar and use of everyday language in both oral and written production.
Learning outcome
KNOWLEDGE:
The candidates level of knowledge is equivalent to Level A2 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
SKILLS:
The candidate *master a basic vocabulary of Norwegian everyday language and grammatical rules for inflection and word order *can write assignments focusing on descriptive and narrative texts in the past, present and future tenses.
Learning methods and activities
If students does not attend the first lecture (unless previous written notice has been given), access to the course and exam will be denied.
Compulsory assignments
- Up to 7 approved written assignments
- 80% attendance (obligatory attendance the first lecture)
