Course content
Same as NORD1102. Students are not expected to be able to express themselves in appropriate and correct Norwegian (bokmål or nynorsk) to the same extent as Norwegian students.
NORX-courses may not be included in a Norwegian university degree or qualify for admission to Teacher Education.
Learning outcome
Same as NORD1102.
Learning methods and activities
Lectures and groupwork with essay writing. The students attend the lectures and read the same curriculum as the students in NORD1102. The course is taught in Norwegian.
Compulsory assignments: 4 approved written assignments (12 pages).
There will be oral/written evaluation (passed/failed) of these assignments.
Approved obligatory assignment is valid for 2 semesters (the semester in which the approval is given, plus the following semester).

Specific conditions
Exam registration requires that class registration is approved in the same semester. Compulsory activities from previous semester may be approved by the department.
Recommended previous knowledge
The student should have a good command of the Norwegian language (oral and written) and should have Scandinavian Studies as their subject from their home institution.
