About the course

Course content

Same as NORD2004. Students are not expected to be able to express themselves in appropriate and correct Norwegian (bokmål or nynorsk) to the same extent as Norwegian students. NORX-courses may not be included in a Norwegian university degree or qualify for admission to Teacher Education.

Learning outcome

Same as NORD2004.

Learning methods and activities

Lectures/seminars. The course is taught in Norwegian. Students must attend lectures for NORD2004 and use the same reading list as for NORD2004.

Obligatory assignments: Up to 3 written assignments and/or oral presentations

Approved obligatory assignments are valid for 2 semesters (the semester in which the approval is given, plus the following semester).

Obligatory assignments from a previous semester may be approved by the department.

Assessment: Oral exam, which consists of two parts:

  1. The candidate will deliver a 10-minute presentation addressing a given topic. The candidate will receive the presentation topic three days before the exam.
  2. A 20-minute discussion between the candidate and the course instructor about the subject area, based on the syllabus literature.

For international guest students (student exchange through International Office at NTNU) only.
