Learning methods and activities
- Lectures and seminars during 3 study gatherings, each lasting 3-5 days

- A two-part practical training equivalent to two weeks, including preparatory and follow-up work, some of which is connected to work during the gatherings.
Detailed description of practical training:
Practical training equivalent to 2 weeks, including preparatory and follow-up work, some of which is connected to work during the gatherings. The practical training should be related to a child, pupil, or adult who uses hearing aids or cochlear implants. Guidance is mandatory.
In the first part of the practical training, the student must gather information about the child, pupil, or adult. The student will then observe the child/pupil/user based on the focus of the practical training and assess the listening skills of the child/pupil/user. Based on the assessment and observations, a plan is developed for a session to be carried out in part 2 of the practical training. The plan is then submitted for guidance.
In the second part of the practical training, the student will conduct a session focused on habilitation/rehabilitation of spoken language with the child, pupil, or adult. Alternatively, the student may guide a person who will carry out this session. The student must make a video recording of their work. The student then selects 15 minutes of the video recording, evaluates it, and submits it for guidance.
This will be presented to the student group in a plenary session during the third gathering. The presentation, together with the video recording and its evaluation, is considered the practical training report.
Assessment of practical training:
The practical training is assessed as passed/not passed based on reflection and evaluation of the student’s own work. The video recording is not assessed directly, but must meet technical requirements. The student may submit a revised written part within one day after receiving feedback.
Mandatory activities:
- Participation in study gatherings
- Practical training
Compulsory assignments
- Oblig
