About the course

Course content

Topics include fundamentals of well mechanics and design of well completion for oil and gas wells. The course deals with well components and with the entire system. It addresses the construction and the maintenance of the well. It includes: strength calculation of well equipment, material selection, safety and reliability of mechanical systems.

Learning outcome

The candidate should be skilled in design and analysis of well completion.
