Course content

The purpose of the subject is to give a thorough introduction to various aspects of process modeling and process improvement. Relevant content includes various approaches to process modeling and various models for process improvement. As regards to process improvement, the content includes areas such as status analysis, establishment of improvement teams, self assessment, benchmarking, the process improvment process, and evaluation.

Learning outcome

Develop detailed insight into problems related to process modeling and process improvement based on this modeling.

Learning methods and activities

The course will be started with an initial lecture. The main mode of work is individual studies of literature and the production of a report based on this.
