Course content
Which social anthropological perspectives and concepts are relevant for your thesis? In this course, you are expected to reflect on the relationship between anthropological theories and your own project. You are challenged in terms of identifying relevant literature related to the empirical phenomenon you decide to focus on, but from different disciplinary, theoretical and conceptual perspectives.
Learning outcome
You have advanced knowledge of analytical concepts, models and forms of analysis within the field. You can choose and assess theoretical perspectives critically, analytical models and concepts related to studies of specific empirical phenomena.
Learning methods and activities
Lectures and seminars.
Some of the lectures may be given in English.
Required previous knowledge
Bachelor's degree in social anthropology or the equivalent
