  • Transversal upright stability
  • Dynamic stability
  • Longitudinal stability
  • Damage stability
  • Grounding, docking and launching
  • Inclining tests
  • Loading conditions and stability criteria
  • Use of software for drafting and technical calculations within naval architecture
  • Class drawings
  • Ship resistance

Learning outcome

After completion of this module, the candidate shall have obtained:

  • Application of relevant computer programs for ship design
  • Lines drawings and structural class drawings
