General pathology and pharmacologyCardiovascular and blood diseasesDiseases in the nervous system and the skeletal and muscular systemDiseases in the respiratory organs and ear-nose-throat (ENT) diseasesDiseases in endocrine organs, diabetes mellitusDiseases in the digestive system and nutritional needs during illnessKidney and urinary tract diseases, fluid/electrolyte and acid/base disordersTraumatology, injuries/intoxications and first aidGynaecology and paediatrics

The student has knowledge about:Causes, symptoms/signs, diagnostics and treatment of damages and diseases in the organ systems.General and special pharmacology, including indication, effects and side-effects of drugs in order to maintain patient safetyHas knowledge about nutrition and its effect on health, disease and treatment
