Health service organization, priorities and planning in community care Quality and user participation in health service Health promotion and prevention on the community level Universal design

Learning outcome

The student:

  • Applies social science concepts in the understanding of the nurse's function in the community level
  • Uses a holistic perspective related to health care for community level
  • Gives an account of laws and regulations governing the municipal health service
  • Discusses the organization, planning and priorities in the municipal health service
  • Discusses health promotion at the system level and in relation to different groups in the community
  • Discusses the quality and user involvement in health services in relation to age and social groups

The Portfolio contains 4 written assignments in groups and 1 individual written assignment. One group assignment and the individual assignment will be graded. Re-sit examination: Ordinary re-sit examination according to the exam plan. The re-sit exam will be given as an individual, oral exam.

Specific conditions

Compulsory activities from previous semester may be approved by the department.
