Course content

Perspectives on innovation and entrepreneurship in traditional building crafts. Innovation and innovation processes - from idea to product or service. Development of a business plan for a business or product area. Development of companies and enterprises with the following sub-themes; resource analysis, resource use, internationalization, strategy and financing.

Learning outcome

Knowledge: Knowledge of understanding and managing development processes in companies. Knowledge of the most central tools for business development processes. Skills: Be able to see and reflect on different perspectives in the understanding of development processes in companies within traditional construction crafts. Be able to develop and lead a company's processes to realize a company's development goals as part of the company's strategies. General competence: Basic insight into the management of processes that affect business strategy and development of activities within traditional construction crafts. Develop an analytical and reflective approach in understanding strategic business - and development processes in traditional construction craftsmanship.

Learning methods and activities

Lecture. - Case discussions. - Group work with presentations.
