About

About the course

Course content

The course is an introduction to applied chemometrics and very relevant to data analysis within bioinformatics. There is a focus on multivariate calibration, experimental design, and classification methods. There is an emphasis on use of existing data analysis software to solve real-life problems.

Learning outcome

The course gives an introduction to practical and teoretical chemometric methods. The student should be able to perform basic experimental design, analysis of variance, principal component analysis, multivariate regression (MLR, PCR and PLSR) and basic methods within cluster analysis and classification.
