About the course
Course content
The course will provide an introduction to what workplace learning involves. Several examples will be presented and these examples will be analysed according to theories on competence, learning and change. Selected cases will be examined to link theoretical perspectives to practical workplace practices.
Learning outcome
The student will acquire knowledge about how to plan and implement developmental processes in organisations and how to encourage workplace learning. The student will also develop insight into how one can contribute to forming learning communities in working life.

Recommended previous knowledge
VLR1000, VLR1001, VLR1002 and VLR1003, or 30sp.
Required previous knowledge
None.
Admission to the course is restricted. All students must register in STUDWEB within 1st June (autumn semester) and 1st December (spring semester) if they want to take a course with restricted admission. This procedure must also be followed by students admitted to a programme of study where the course is obligatory. Students admitted to the particular programme of study will be given priority.
