Sludge Treatment and Disposal
About
About the course
Course content
The course is meant to give a more thorough theoretical understanding of the various unit processes used in sludge treatment than what is given in the ordinary MSc-programme - dewatering processes, hygienization processes, stabilisation processes and thermal processes. Treatment methods that have been particularly researched lately will be in focus.
Learning outcome
The student shall develop a thorough theoretical and practical knowledge about sludge treatment processes.
Learning methods and activities
The course is divided in 5-6 concentrated seminars if there are 3 or more students. If fewer, individual teaching will be offered. A report on a given topic will have to be written by the student and presented before The water treatment research group at the department.
