About the course
Course content
Stormwater as ressours and problem. Effects of urbanization on urban water ballance, consequences and measures. Stormwater quantity and quality. Data collection. Planning, analyzing and projecting of faxcilities for stormwater flow and quality control. Special problems in cold climate.
Sustainable and ecological stormwater solutions and reuse of stormwater.
Learning outcome
The students should manage methods for stormwatermanagement with or without constructions, including planning, prosjecting and analyzing of stormwater facilities and urbanhydrological data collection.
Learning methods and activities
Lectures over two periods a one week, if there are 3 or more students.
One oblicatoric project acounting 20% and one exercise on Risvollan urbanhydrolgiske feltlaboratory, acounting 10%. The lectures and exercises are in English when students who do not speak Norwegian take the course.
