Course content
Automatic control systems
Programming an automation device
Learning outcome
Knowledge: The candidate has basic knowledge of
how to automate a system or facility
building an automated system
Skills: The candidate
can create a simple automation program for an automation device such as. PLC, microcontrollers or similar
know how to automate an existing facility
General competence: The candidate must
be able to put together previous practical and theoretical knowledge to create an automatic system
be able to assess the advantages and disadvantages of automation
communicate results in writing
Learning methods and activities
The topic includes teaching at gatherings. The forms of work vary and can include lectures, exercises, work in groups, discussions, presentations, etc.
Compulsory assignments
Further on evaluation
Mandatory activities / work requirements: 80% attendance at classes.
The assessment consists of a practical project assignment with a report that must be done individually.
