Pritam Bose

Pritam Bose

Pritam Bose was born in Kolkata, India, in 1991. He received the B.Tech. degree in electronics and communications engineering from the West Bengal University of Technology, West Bengal, India, in 2013 and the M.Sc. degree in telecommunications engineering from the University of Trento, Trento, Italy, in 2016. He carried out his master thesis at the Knowledge Engineering and Discovery Research Institute (KEDRI) in Auckland University of Technology, Auckland, New Zealand. His master thesis project was regarding the application of spiking neural networks for crop yield estimation based on spatio-temporal analysis of time-series of satellite images. From 2013 to 2014, he was employed as Assistant System Engineer in an IT firm named Tata Consultancy Services Limited in India. He is currently enrolled as a PhD student in the Department of Clinical Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Oslo and pursuing his PhD research work at the Intervention Centre, Oslo University Hospital, Norway. He is a part of the WiBEC project as an early-stage researcher which is being funded by the European Commission. His PhD thesis is titled “Signal processing for communication and power transmission for in-body sensor networks”. He has authored 1 journal publication in IEEE Transactions on Geoscience & Remote Sensing and co- authored 1 journal publication & 1 abstract.
