Mohammad Albatat

Mohammad Albatat

  1. Mohammad Albatat received the BEng Degree in Biomedical Engineering from the School of Mathematics, Computer Science & Engineering, City University of London in 2014. He received MSc Degree in Physics and Engineering in Medicine from the Faculty of Engineering Sciences, University College London (UCL) in 2015. His masters project was the development of a tool for optimal placement of central venous catheters using ECG P-wave guidance. In November 2015, he started his role as a Clinical Engineer in the Department of Electro-Biomedical Engineering, Lister Hospital. This role gained him exposure to hospital environment and experience in internal design, preventative maintenance and repairing techniques of medical devices. He started his current role in August 2016 as an early stage researcher in the WiBEC project, based in the Intervention Centre, Oslo University Hospital, which provides him with the necessary means to achieve a PhD degree in medical technology. He is currently enrolled as a PhD student in the Department of Clinical Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Oslo and aims to receive his PhD degree by the end of 2019. His project title is Multi-Node Sensor Network Configuration and Testing Environment for Leadless Pacemaker.
