The only university in East Germany that was awarded the excellence status and considered as one of leading research institutions in Germany, all facilities and infrastructure will be open for the recruited and incoming ESRs. They will benefit from existing lectures, seminars and events inside and outside the excellence cluster “cfaed – center for advancing electronics dresden“. Prof. Plettemeier is the head of the chair for RF engineering and will be the main supervisor for ERS9-10 ited ESRs and will co-supervise OVE’s ESR11. The supervisory team consists of Dr.-Ing. Neumann (Assoc. Prof. microwave photonics) and Dr. Wang (body area communication specialist). Recruited and hosted ESRs will be given access to our antenna lab and anechoic chamber for training. Prof. Plettemeier will lead WP2 on Wireless Communications.
