About

Torleiv H. Bryne is an Associate Professor in estimation and navigation systems at the Department of Engineering Cybernetics, NTNU. He received his MSc on guidance, navigaiton and control (2013) and PhD (2017) in Engineering Cybernetics from NTNU.

His main research interests include navigation systems, inertial navigation, satellite navigation (GNSS), GNSS interference monitoring, GNSS-denied navigation, positioning, navigation and timing (PNT) systems, remote sensing, and maritime surveillance using small satellites.

He is also a key researcher at the NTNU Small Satellite Laboratory (SmallSat Lab) and the NTNU Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Laboratory (UAV Lab).

Bryne is also coordinating the research group Surveillance under NTNU themaics focus area on civil security and preparedness.
